I read today where fast food workers from dozens of countries, including the United States, have announced plans for a one-day strike to take place on May 15th. The date mirrors the $15 per hour pay that workers are demanding. The current minimum wage is $7.25 per hour though Congress is now entertaining legislation to raise the minimum wage to $10.10 per hour.
